Based on the feedback of a large group of professionals we have added the next level of Dacron learner sails to the range. These Dacron HD sails are dedicated to windsurfing schools and centers that teach newcomers to windsurfing.
Higher aspect ratios (shorter booms), new luff curves, modified vertical and horizontal shapes combine to redefine Oxygen performance.
Unique to the Banzai Pro design concept is the back-hand throttle control. The sail pulls forward from “low RPMs” and is very balanced, but there is always a little “extra” available off the back hand for when you really need to juice up into a jump or maneuver. This tactile back-hand feel gives you a direct connection to how the sail is loading and releasing and allows you stay connected throughout your maneuvers.
Marcilio Browne has driven this concept, insisting that the sails maintain the connected feel, providing him supreme confidence and control through technical maneuvers. There is a trend in the market for more “neutral” feeling wave sails, and while there is a place for more of that on other Goya models, designed for a more positive rider connection to instant power delivery.

The “Direct Connect” foot batten back end to clew configuration really adds to the precise feel and handling of this maneuver wave sail. Easy power and finesse with a fingertip. A high performance sail developed for newcomers to windsurfing. The smaller sizes 4.0 / 4.5 / 5.1 / 5.8 are designed towards Bump & Jump conditions, the larger sizes 6.5 and 7.3 are designed for performance Freeride level blasting. The relatively low weight makes this sail easy to uphaul. Highly recommended to use in combination with the recommended mast to gain maximum performance: early planing and upper-end control.
