The leash is secured to your wrist with a padded velcro strap. It is designed to be opened and closed with one hand.
When the tension reduces, the leash neatly coils staying out of the way. The 5'5" leash is long enough to move around the tips of your wing while keeping the weight and swinging mass to a minimum.
