Boom Unifiber Essentials Monocoque Tapered.
The Essentials Monocoque Tapered boom range offers a slimmer grip diameter section. This boom delivers a reactive stance and comfortable, energy-efficient hand positioning.
The robust 26mm diameter tube thickness in the harness line/grip area can be used in combination with a hard-working wave, freeride and slalom racing sails. The T8 alloy monocoque construction to enjoy reduced play and improved durability.
The key performance characteristics are achieved through reduced-diameter T6 aluminum tubing. The boom features a full monocoque construction, structurally identical to its carbon counterparts, and in fact competes with many carbon booms. High stiffness and strength are maintained even when fully extended.
Smaller sizes use a 27.1 mm diameter, while larger models transition from 26 mm to 29.5 mm toward the extension, making this boom comfortable to ride with—even during long sessions on the water.
Designed with Goya’s reliable double-pin locking system, it also features a very robust front end. The Slim Alu comes with wide and stiff tail extensions.
Built from a high-tech alloy with maximum tensile strength and up to 18% elongation, it combines durability, light weight, and safety.
The RDB (Reduced Diameter Boom) is slimmer than standard booms and slightly thicker than Goya’s Carbon Skinny Pro. Smaller sizes feature a 27.5 mm diameter, while the larger models use a 30 mm diameter.
The three sizes cover a wide range of sails, and the 60% carbon construction provides excellent stiffness and a more direct feel on the water.
The boom fits both RDM and SDM masts through an integrated adapter. It is designed with Goya’s reliable double-pin locking system, a wide tail section, and a grippy non-slip coating for maximum comfort and control.

The Carbon Pro RDB is slimmer than standard booms and slightly thicker than the Goya Skinny. The grip is in line with what most riders consider comfortable these days—slimmer than standard booms.
