The MFC_WSC is ideal for all around wave sailing. Developed in Punta San Carlos, Baja California. Designed for wave sailing in conditions where there is seaweed. The initial curve on the leading edge allows the seaweed to slide instead of getting caught on the fin.
Unproblematic handling in all conditions. Little rake at the base provides more performance in planing and acceleration. The homogeneous transition to more rake in the soft top gives the fin good ride comfort, agility and smoothness.
This a cooperation project between Kai Hopf, Duotone windsurfing Sails designer, and Pio Marasco. Both Pio and Kai have been designing fins for more than twenty years, and together they have developed the fastest racing fin ever. Made from CNC shaped G10 with a very thin new profile and custom flex that provides early planning and lots of speed. This new profile applied was designed to avoid cavitation at very high speeds. A new colouring material for pigmentation of the G10 that is absorbed by the resin has been used creating a very smooth surface that helps increases speed.
